The Orbera® Managed Weight Loss Program is a unique and effective, non-surgical weight loss program, and is a proven kick start to weight loss.
The combination of the Orbera® intragastric balloon (a soft silicone device), and a support program can assist in achieving weight loss goals.
The ORBERA® intragastric balloon is made of soft silicone that’s inserted in a deflated state into the stomach. It’s then inflated with sterile salt water through a self-sealing valve once it enters the stomach. The ORBERA® intragastric balloon will remain in place for a maximum of six months.As ORBERA® helps patients feel full more quickly, and provided they follow the program correctly, expected weight loss is up to 15kg in 6 months.
